Emmy Nominations…

July 17, 2008

Well I was so excited for this day….but alas I am now sad.  We got a whole big SNUB for my favorite Friday Night Lights.  The one show who really needed the Emmy Nods.  Sigh — this will most likely be the end of FNL so enjoy it this season while it last.  Otherwise YEAH for Kristin Chenoweth, Matt Dillion, and everyone in John Adams.  BIG YEAH for American Idol & Ryan Seacrest (although secretly I think Jeff Probst should TOTALLY win for Survivior — he is the BEST host in the biz…)   I am also totally surprised Pushing Daises did not make the cut, I thought it would WIN jeeeze….

Amy Ryan will be back on The Office

Per Variety, Amy Ryan will reprise her genious role of HR rep Holly Flax for at least 5 episodes. Very exciting. I can’t to see her reaction when she finds out Kevin isn’t really retarded. Nice.

Lack of Updates

May 19, 2008

To say I’ve been busy lately is an understatement, and although it’s not a good excuse — it is mine.  Here are my brief thoughts on the last three note worthy tv episodes I’ve watched.

The Office - Season Finale
I have only seen Amy Ryan in Gone Baby Gone and I initially did not recognize her as the new HR person, but I thought she was excellent.  Who else LOVED her interaction with Kevin? I thought that storyline was amazing.  Sad…hahah for Kevin, but amazing. “I love pie”.  I felt AWFUL for Michael, and Dwight, AND JIM– I was like really? All three of them? Clearly Dwight got his revenge in the end, and that was sweet sweet justice.  You know who else got her justice? Phyllis!! AMAZING.  She was great in this episode.  I’m really glad they are letting the smaller characters get some air time (ala Meredith in the beginning of the season, and Stanley a few back).  Loved the whole episode and I found myself cracking up throughout the entire episode.

Lost
Ok I was BAWLING my eyes out in the first five minutes, when the Oceanic 6 all walked out of the plane.  NICE.  LOVED the Sawyer/Jack interaction.  LOVED Sun totally ripping her father a new one.  So excited for the season finale, and I’m so glad it’s not this week, but next — because I will be away!!

Gossip Girl
well…its was fairly good I suppose.  Totally loved Blair getting even with Georgina.  The whole Serena/Dan thing was a bit Marissa/Ryan for me.  And at a wedding? Come on Josh Schwartz…if they end next season with a death, I will highly doubt your creativity skills.  Chuck really had my roommate and I wrapped around his little finger.  We used to HATE him, and we ended up LOVING him.  Even at the end.. Sigh.  Good episode.  Last weeks was better tho.

Again, no American Idol recaps this week — because I’ll be at both show!!! Soo Go David Cook and I hope you guys all enjoy watching!!!!

The Office - Thank you Dateline

May 8, 2008

Today is a Job Fair at Pam’s old high school with Michael, Pam, Daryll, and Oscar. They are looking for interns!!

Aww Jim is golfing with clients! Oh no and Kevin and Andy comes with him. Kevin is in accounting why is he going? He is taking the petty cash and turning it into rent. Pam has memories of the gym. hahahah they look really funny all sitting there. Back in the office everyone wants to leave and that means that Dwight is in charge. Stanley leaves ut oh.

Michael can’t get many people to come to their booth — but he thinks kids are wary about being “lured” — thank you dateline. haha. So I guess the whole office but Angela decides to leave for the day and we are left with just Dwight and Angela awww!!! Read the rest of this entry »

The Office - Did I stutter!?

May 1, 2008

If you haven’t already watched the amazing hilarious interview of Phyllis by Steve Carell then you need to go watch right now. PS Mom if you are reading, you ARE Phyllis!! CLICK HERE

We begin with a Once in a Lifetime Opportunity for Michael to put his mark in wet cement. Michael put his face in wet cement. Smart. HAHA Andy and Angela are playing madlibs and Pam has new glasses. Apparently she “slept over” a friends house and she forgot her contact solution. Jim continues to tease Pam about proposing.

OMG Michael has a brainstorming session and Stanley screams “Did I stutter”.  Toby  thinks that Stanley was being insubordinate.  Wow.  Michael tells Toby “he is so white”.  Andy sells his car to Dwight.  Now Dwight tries to get Michael to give him control on reprimanding Stanley — it doesn’t work as easily on him.

The Office - Stay Real Scranton

April 24, 2008

Hhahah great new episode of The office.

We begin with Michael getting some gum in his hair…followed by Dwight massaging PB into his head….you know to get the gum out.  HA.

Ryan comes into town and he’s kinda acting a bit crazy, hes making everyone come in on Saturday to work with the website.  Apparently they added a social network to the site that was filled with porn hahahah.  Best moment — Kelly Kapur ” How Dare You”.  Slow clap initiated by Michael was amazing.  On the way out — “Stay Real Scranton” What happened to you Ryan??

Michael is still dealing with his singleness and he needs help from Jim.  hahahh moment “Would you have sex with Meredith?:  Do you think she would tell people?:”  Michael decides to go visit to  NYC and he brings Dwight so that they can meet up with Ryan and go clubbing. Ryan is DRUNK and maybe high and he is SOOO excited to see them in NYC.  He also has a midget friend, which Dwight will continually ask him questions about his hobbit like figure.

Jim has the great idea that they should just stay late and then they don’t have to come in on Saturday, except that no one told the guards and so they locked themselves inside of the parking lot.  Nice.  Love they way they are hiding Angela’s belly hahahhah holding her purse.  Andy asks everyone who is a better couple, Angela and Andy or Pam and Jim and everyone votes for AA hahahhahahahaah. They continue to try and entertain themselves and I have another laugh out loud moment when Pam throws a football….right into Meredith’s head HAHAHHA.

Ryan is on drugs for sure and they go to another club where Dwight meets a womens basketball team where he proceeds to totally makeout with a hot chick! Gooo Dwight!! Michael makes sure that everyone knows by taking a photo and sending it to everyone.  Back in Scranton the crew is still waiting for Hank, the security gaurd, to come let them out — when the cleaning crew comes and lets them out.. Nice.

The boys end up back at Ryans bad where Michael claims it was “The Best Night Ever!”  He also says that people say they like Boys on the Side well I think Lets hear it for the Boys.

Nice.

The Office - Oscar..Meyer..Weiner…Lover

April 17, 2008

Haahahh we begin with the Dunder Mifflin crew having to now park 1/2 mile away from the office due to construction taking up their parking spots.  Nice.  Kevin will quit if it’s not fixed.  Michael has to pick out a new chair from a catalog hahaha and it’s taken three weeks.  Pam gets Michael’s old chair.  Oh no sounds like Michael and Jan broke up!  HAHAH Creed gets Pams chair when she gets Michaels old chair.  Michael wants everyone to set him up now that he is single.   Awww Stacy broke up with Kevin.  HAHAH Hello Oscar Meyer Weiner lover.  That was amazing.  Phyllis has a friend named Sandy who apparently can’t fit in a rowboat so Michael is not interested.  hahahaha.  I feel like I shouldn’t blog about The Office bc all I really do is type out the things I thought we’re funny.  HAHAH Creed has Solitare up on his computer screen.  HAHAH Michael is asking everyone to write out a name of someone who he can date, within the hour, or they are fired.

“I am setting Michael up with my fat friend anyways and he can just deal with it” OMG I Love Phyllis!!! AHAHHAHAHAHHA Kevin gave Michael the number to a Wendy’s.  Dwight pledges to Michael that he will find the Chair Model in the magazine.  Wow Dwight stalked down the magazine and apparently the Chair model is dead.  Sad. Wow Pam is gonna set him up with her landlady.  Michael goes to get coffee with Pam’s landlady and I guess she’s not really his type poor lady. Read the rest of this entry »

OMG I’m blogging about The Office again!!!

April 10, 2008

The Office is Back AMEN!!

This makes me so happy. Michael asks Pam and Jim over to dinner. OH NO Dwight wasn’t invited to the dinner party and when he cried in the “confessional” I cried with him. But Angela and Andy are invited!! Dwangela we miss you!!!

Wow Jan and Michael are now babe and babe. Oh wow Jan is doing candles…selling them or something hilarious. AHAHAHAHAHAH they had a video camera set up in front of the bed. Let’s see how they hide Angela’s baby bump. Ok so I realize that my recap of the show is more me laughing and talking about funny moments instead of recapping. DEAL WITH IT. HA.

OMG Jan is playing music by her ex assistant Hunter that is amazing. And Andy is singing along. Oh wow they are playing charades. I love that they are doing confessionals in the bathroom. Jim pretends that his apartment floods and Michael won’t let Pam go hahahah so he stays. Ut oh it looks like Jan is getting a little jealous of Pam. Nice. Wow OMG Jan thinks that Pam and Michael dated hahahaah “I see the way you look at him in the office” oh Angela. Michael wants Jim and Andy to invest in Jan’s company. OH MY GOD. Dwight shows up to the Dinner party with an old woman and some extra wine glasses.. WOW Michael had three vasectomy’s. That was amazing.

WOW dinner time and Michael is taking his meat and dipping it in his wine, which is in his wine glass. Ohh my god. Jan thru a Dundy thru Michael’s plasma screen. Wow the police arrive. Aww cute Jam goes to a fast food restaurant and he stole Hunter’s CD. Amazing. Nice to see our Dunderheads outside of The Office. Nice episode!!

NBC’s 2008-2009 Schedule

April 2, 2008

NBC’s 2008-2009 schedule includes FNL!!! Hoorah. Apparently in the fall DirectTV will air new episodes of FNL and then they will be followed in the winter on NBC. I guess I need to find a friend with DirectTV. There is this whole business of a Office spinoff. Should be interesting — I hope they don’t take anyone out of the original to put in the new one. Lipstick Jungle is also coming back! For all your updates I would look to Watch with Kristin and Ausiello — you can get the links from the blog roll on the right. Click more for the NBC Schedule
