Survivor Finale - The Black Widow Brigade

May 11, 2008

Well this should probably be my longest post ever since we have a THREE hour finale, on what has unquestionably been the best season in many many years of Survivor. For the first time ever we have an all women final four! Should make for an exciting night!! I’ll say it again for the umpteenth time, Cirie for the win!!! (Let’s see if I can call the winner twice in a row!)

The girls awake and that they pulled off another blindside. These girls have all played a great game. Cirie says shes nervous around everyone. Everyone is so glad that its just the ladies left. Natalie thinks that her and Parvati are like BFF. Amanda and Cirie take notice. Cirie is convinced that this is another immunity and that they have to beat Natalie. Ohh man looks like its a two part challenge here. This is interesting — its not an endurance challenge like it normally is for the last immunity challenge. Do we get my biggest wish where we go back to the final two and not the final three like the past few season!?!? Natalie get an early lead. Amanda seems to be taking a lead. Amanda wins immunity!!! Yeaahhh!!! Read the rest of this entry »

Survivor - It’s not all hair up on my head

May 8, 2008

Well we’ve had 4 amazing episodes in a row — what can POSSIBLY happen tonight to top the rest!?!

Cirie says Tribal Council is getting dangerous!! Meanwhile Erik and Natalie talk about how it isn’t smart to bring Amanda to the final three. They want to get on exile island. Parvati, Cirie, and Amanda are now in a lifeline till the end. Amanda says if you win reward take me and if I win I’ll take you. Amanda says that Erik is very niave. Reward challenge is a questions from past seasons of survivor!!! OHHH AWESOME. I think Erik will do well — -lets see how well I do! Oh damn it I got three right, I thought All-Stars was the first season to do four groups. Erik looks like he is siding with the Favorites and he sends Parvati to exile and takes Amanda on reward!! Survivor - You guys are perfecting the art of the blindside.

May 1, 2008

Yikes James has a giant sore on his finger still and it looks not good at all for the grave digger.  If he has to leave the show too bc of a damn finger I’m gonna be pissed!!!  Everyone seems generally concerned that James is ok.  In the meantime Alexis hurts her knee pretty badly.  Reward Challenge time, the one where they anonymously talk about each other. Hilarious.  Winner gets some love from home.  Awww its the families!!

dad is there HAHA Eriks brother freaks out at his beard and Erik goes “dude look, it’s Jeff Probst, he’s just standing there!” Jeff calls Erik a freak!  Amanda’s sister gets to make a repeat appearance on Survivor.  Aww James’sthats so cute.  And HB gets to make a repeat appearance as well, Cirie’s husband.  Winner gets to swim with non stinging jelly fish.  There is a new idol on exile island.  Alexis wins and she brings Natalie and Cirie with her.  Amanda asks to go to exile island and Alexis sends her there.  Read the rest of this entry »

Jeff Probst signs on thru season 20!

April 28, 2008

So Jeff Probst has signed on thru Season 20 and the 10th anniversary of Survivor. He also basically confirms that the next season of Survivor will be in Africa or “on the equator”. Check out the great article from USA Today below.
USA Today - Jeff Probst

Survivor 17 — Africa…again!!

April 21, 2008

So the rumors have been floating about the next season of Survivor, and Reality Blurred has a great little article about those said rumors. Yeaah Survivor!Survivor 17

“Rumors that Survivor may return to Africa for its 17th season have reached a fever pitch online. The rumored location for the first season to be shot in HD is Gabon, or the Gabonese Republic, which is located in western Africa on the Atlantic Ocean and borders the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Cameroon. Other locations mentioned, however, have included New Zealand and Madagascar.

The CIA’s World Factbook describes Gabon’s geography as “arrow coastal plain; hilly interior; savanna in east and south,” and says there is a “pristine rain forest and rich biodiversity.” Survivor Africa, the show’s third season, was the last season to be filmed in a non-tropical location, and although the game play was interesting, watching contestants drink muddy water out of poop-filled ponds didn’t exactly thrill everyone.”

Survivor - That’s the most boobs I’ve seen in my entire life.

April 17, 2008

We start with everyone reviewing what just happened with Eliza and the fake hilarious immunity idol.  Jason continues to think he is very comparable to Ozzy and that they are “God Like” in the challenges.  Oh jeeze.   Time for a reward challenge!! Winners get a Micronesia traveling trip.  One person is sitting out and they will go to exile island.  Cirie gets sent to Exile Island — no real surprise there.  The power team of Amanda, Ozzy, Erik, and Jason win reward.

Eriks comments on thier Micronesian trip we’re hilarious.  All the women are topless hahaha.  Ozzy even says how niave and wide-eyed Erik is.  HAHAH Beer and Beatlenut not a good combination.  Meanwhile Cirie is scared and cold on exile island.  Cirie is thinking she needs to get rid of Ozzy and his idol. Survivor - How the Hell am I still here today…?

April 10, 2008

We begin with Ozzy talking about Honesty. Hmmm. HAHAH Jason tells Eliza that he has the immunity idol. What an idiot. Merge time!! HAHAHAHAH Erik said that Dabu is the word for Good in Micronesian but he said he has no idea what the word for good is, he just made it up HILARIOUS. I think this Erik kid. Woaaah Ozzy is all sorts of snuggling up to Alexis. Amanda does not look happy. This is gonna be great. Read the rest of this entry »

Survivor - Stardust from his eyes.

March 19, 2008

And a special Wednesday night edition begins. Sorry ANTM you will have to wait.

We begin with what I will now call Ozzy’s tribe trying to decide if they should kill the chickens or not. Tracy is being annoying (she has been playing this game since the beginning how is she still around?). Tracy says Ozzy is gonna win this game if we don’t get him out. Ohh do we see some foreshadowing? I hope not!

“This is a game called Survivor” James and his witty banter about the girls complaining about the smell. Oh James how I love you. Erik wants to be more like Ozzy. Cirie compared Ozzy and Erik to the Lion King. “Whenever you hear Ozzy’s name — stardust comes out of his eyes” hahahhaha I love Cirie. Reward Challenge time. It is a sponsored reward courtesy of Herbal Essence. There are a lot of ladies left in this game. Ozzys team finally wins a challenge!! Tracy and Jason go to exile.

Ozzys team has multiple orgasms with the herbal essence reward wins. Kathy is complaining about how she has no strength and how this is the stupidest thing shes ever done. God you are annoying how is still on this show? She is trying to send messages to the outside world ala Shane a few years ago and his rockberry. It sounds like she is quitting the show. Wow so here comes Probst and a boat and it looks like Kathy is out again. Are we going to have another two person eviction this week? Short season of Survivor eh? Jeff is talking to Kathy — is he gonna try and convince her to stay? These fans are LAME.

Survivor “We need you — I need you”

March 13, 2008

So we begin with Ami thinking that she is vunerable because she wasn’t in an alliance before they merged. Eliza & Jonathon plan to align with some fans to get rid of Parvati and James before the merge. Reward Challenge time! Jonathon is still limping and he takes a huge fall during the challenge. This is for two Micronesian people helping them annnd Irai wins again. They send Chet to exile island with Jason.

Survivor — Why don’t you stop bitching..

March 6, 2008

hahah great episode of Survivor. Ozzy tells the “couples” alliance that he has the hidden immunity idol. The tribes switch it up (the couples are still together but on separate tribes). They do what I thought would be a lame reward challenge but it ends up that everyone kinda gets hurt hahah (Parvati gets a fat lip, Jonathon is punctured in the leg, Ami hurts her knee, and Chet gets dragged around the course like a little puppy). Survivor - “You’re sick and you got additude?”

February 28, 2008

Cirie is flipping on Ami and Ami apologizes for voting for her.  Jonathon can not stop talking.  I dunno I’m kinda nervous for Cirie now.  If she had played the quiet card it might have gotten her further in the game – now she has a lot of enemies.  Hmm

Back on the Fans camp they are trying to guess who went home (Yau Mann or Eliza – good guesses!) Natalie wants to confront Chet about his lack of work.  Mikey proclaims that “Chet is gone”.  Favorites time and Eliza does not feel well. The guys think it was a big mistake that they voted out YM.  Reward Challenge time.  They are playing for 3 Hens and 1 Rooster.  The favorites have a brilliant strategy.  They have a huge lead into the puzzle.  James gets the word right away.  Favorites win reward.  They pick Kathy to go to exile island again and Ozzy goes with her.

Emmys may add Reality Host award

February 27, 2008

So all the major websites are reporting this and I think it’s pretty exciting. The Emmys will most likely be adding a new award to the ceremonies in Sept. Reality Host award! That’s right we might get to see Ryan Seacrest up there accepting an award for his hosting duties. Lets be realistic tho Phil Keogan will probably win since thats the only reality show that wins anything at the Emmys. (I still love you Amazing Race!!). Should be interesting.
(Maybe Heidi Klum?  — DEF not the guy who hosted Kid Nation can we say awkward?)

Here’s for Jeff Probst for the win!!

Variety Article

Survivor “I don’t care if he proposes to you”

February 21, 2008

So much so that I missed the first 20 minutes, and I went to one of my reality tv site shows and saw who was voted out already. *CURSE YOU BLOGGERS WHO FORGET THERE ARE WEST COASTERS!!* Well it was kinda my fault, they always post that kinda stuff I just forgot. Anyways, I don’t know what happened in the first 20 minutes, but I will pickup from here. Click for more *since we try not to spoil here at something creative!*

Survivor “I hear the sounds of Jungle Love”

February 19, 2008

So Survivor. Good episode.

We begin with the fans trying to organize themselves, build a fire etc.. Kathy, Tracy, and Chet *basically the old weirdos* are kinda on the out skirts of the rest of the tribe. Kathy is running her mouth and shes pretty much a pain in the ass. Too bad they couldn’t vote her out this week. (Remember she has the idol that Yau Mann gave her). Back on the Favorites island Amanda and ozzy and James & Parvati are in a “couples alliance” How dumb.

Lost & Survivor

February 18, 2008

So these are two of my favorite shows, and two of my favorite to blog, but again this week I wasn’t home on thursday… To make a long story short, this means that I have to DVR them and watch them in the living room, I also do not have a laptop — I have a desktop which is in my bedroom. Therefor it’s hard for me to live blog what’s going on. I did take notes, but I always feel like my recaps don’t come out as good when I write them up after the fact. I also took notes on Friday when I watched the shows, aannd it’s now Monday so my notes don’t make much sense. Basically, I’m scratching the recaps for this week but I promise to be back next week with my thoughts!!!

*I also might decide to type them up later this week…it all depends on my mooood. Peace!*

Survivor Micronesia Premiere

February 10, 2008

Well.  Again I apologize for the delay on these recaps, but I was on a mini vaca this weekend and I didn’t have a chance to watch any of these shows. That being said — Survivor All Stars 2 did not disappoint.  Well actually it kinda did.

It started out with ten randoms “fans” on an island waiting to see who they would playing against, when all the favorites came out.  The first challenge swimming across and island to get the first immunity idols.  Johnny Fairplay got the idol first, but Yau Man totally stole it from him hahah and he took the one for the other team and gave it to some random.  LOVE IT.  Back on the beaches the fans kinda wonder around aimlessly and they discuss the “favorites” Johnny Fairplays “He’s a pig!” hahaha.  The favorite on the other hand get right to work and build a pretty kick ass shelter.

At the first challenge the fans kick the favorites ass, it was kinda pathetic.  Now the scheming must begin.  Apparently Parvati is shacking up with James, and Amanda is shacking up with Ozzy, so Amy, Yau Man, Jonathon, and Eliza decide they are going to stay together.  Both groups try and get Johnny Fairplay on their side.  I’m sorry are these people crazy!?!?  Cirie, who I totally want to win, is playing this game the best.  Stay out of the way, don’t start promising shit — until they need her. She did it just the same in the last season and she got all the way to the final four, why would they not want her on their group! AHHH.  Anyways, Johnny Fairplay decides that he misses his girlfriend (remember the chick from ANTM 4 who had the skin bacteria) and shes pregnant, and he asks everyone to vote for him (but is he?).  Anyways it’s a pretty lame tribal council, and Johnny Fairplay is voted out.

PS if they don’t vote Eliza out, and then Jonathon out soon after that I might scream. They are just super annoying.

Next week Amanda and Ozzy make out. Is this Temptation island?  I thought Ozzy did gay porn?

Apologies

February 8, 2008

I know I would normally have Survivor and Lost posted by now … but I had a weird night last night.  I will try and post them later today, but if not they will def. be up on Sunday.  The same with Friday Night Lights, that will be up on Sunday. Keep Checking back!

Survivor Micronesia More

January 30, 2008

Reality Blurred has a great article about the upcoming season of Survivor. Read about it HERE or read below

Jeff Probst talked to reporters yesterday about Survivor Micronesia, which debuts next week. He revealed one of the season’s twists, and also discussed some highlights that constitute mild spoilers, although he did not name names or give specifics. For example, he said that there are “a record number of blindsides this season. It is amazing how many blindsides we have in a row,” he said, adding that James’ decision last season to not use his immunity is no longer the biggest blunder in the show’s history.
