Emmy Nominations…

July 17, 2008

Well I was so excited for this day….but alas I am now sad.  We got a whole big SNUB for my favorite Friday Night Lights.  The one show who really needed the Emmy Nods.  Sigh — this will most likely be the end of FNL so enjoy it this season while it last.  Otherwise YEAH for Kristin Chenoweth, Matt Dillion, and everyone in John Adams.  BIG YEAH for American Idol & Ryan Seacrest (although secretly I think Jeff Probst should TOTALLY win for Survivior — he is the BEST host in the biz…)   I am also totally surprised Pushing Daises did not make the cut, I thought it would WIN jeeeze….

Kristin Chenoweth

February 16, 2008
SOO excited! Apparently Kristin Chenoweth *who some of you know from Pushing Daises, but who most of us know for her amazing work on Broadway* will be preforming a song from the movie Enchanted at the Academy Awards next week! Amy Adams is singing one of the songs, recreating her wonderfullness that she was on screen, and so Krisitn will sing the other song! How exciting!!

Cute Article

February 5, 2008

So the New York Post has done this great little piece with some of our favorite TV writers rewriting the season finales of our favorite shows. Def. read the ones about The Office and FNL, they are hilarious.

We are not at that stage of our friendship yet, please don’t cry in front of me

November 21, 2007

Pushing Daises:
Death by Scratch and Sniff!
So excited for this episode, featuring the amazing Christopher Sieber — ala Spamalot and Into the Woods Revival (more widely known as the dad from that Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen tv show). Wow the Rolling Pin joke was a bit umm weird? Hhaha Chuck wants to have mini pies (that are actually quite cute) but Ned doesn’t like hybrids (ahaha) so he says no! Wow the dead one this week is burnt to a crisp soo gross but the makeup is amazing — Emmy Nod eh? Loved the scene with Christopher aka Napoleon the ultimate smeller. Kristin Chenoweth putting on the Darling Mermaid Darlings flipper fins was so sweet. Olive is trying to get them back in the water, but Swoosie Kurtz says no way Hosea and she wants pie (which makes my dad say “Honey do we have any pie” to my mom awww good to be home.) Ned & Emerson again try to get some more information on Ned — and his past relationships. Bear Skin Rug what what!?! Aww Olive & Chuck are bonding! I can’t retype it but what the pop-up book seller said was funny. Ut oh — someone puts a dirty sock down Ned’s drain that says “You can’t Save Lenay” Ut oh someone is going to kill Christopher Seiber!! Now we see Paul Rubens aka PeeWee Herman as Oscar, Napoleons arch rival dum dum dum. hahahha Chlorine is like bottled sunshine *Who votes for Ellen Greene, Kristin Chenoweth and Christopher Sieber sing a little Broadway ditty now? yes!* Follow the yellow hick hose!! My dad brings up this great point — why do they have flashlights on when there are clearly lights all over the underground? True Story. Then a car blows up. This show spends a hell of a lot of money on special effects. OMG KRISTIN CHENOWETH IS A MERMAID. “We are not at that stage of our friendship yet, please don’t cry in front of me”. Why is emerson wearing a pink floral shirt with a yellow plaid jacket. Paul Rubens looks like Lyle Lovett. Turns out Christopher Seiber was setting up Paul Rubens..interesting. CS is just great he just sounds so articulate and is playing this part perfectly! Yeah Ellen Greene singing! Aww the sisters dive back into the water! And Emerson now enjoys pop up books. Aww Ned decides to let Chuck have cup-pies at the Pie Hole. Ut Oh — PeeWee Herman knows Chuck is dead!
Molly Shannon in next weeks episode! So excited!!

More to come!

In other news: Angela Kinsey is totally pregnant! Please tell me that if and when the strike is over that they will write this into the show and Angela will have Dwights babies or even better a Who’s the Daddy between Dwight & Andy.http://www.tmz.com/2007/11/21/new-kid-at-the-office/

Halloween

November 1, 2007

It’s 10:45 on Halloween night in Vegas. I’m watching TV AWESOME. Just a few more days here in Vegas thankfully and I will be back in LaLaLand. Recaps on TV Watching Tonight:

Pushing Daises:
Good Episode — I love the concept of this show, but it makes me sad that I’m not as captivated as I was with the first few episodes. I did enjoy the Kristin Chenoweth centered episode haha Cheno as a jockey, Hilarious! Next episode in two weeks looks better.

Dirty Sexy Money :
Loved this episode. THis is the best ensemble cast on TV right now. Isn’t Jeremy Darling just darling? I’m not sure quite how I feel about the whole Simon Elder subplot story thing. I’m glad Nick told Trip about why he was working with Elder… Brian and Brian JR. are really endearing.

America’s Next Top Model — recap week BOORING

Gossip Girl - Repeat of the Pilot BORING

Kid Nation – is it bad I enjoy watching this horrid show? Anyways, no DVR in Vegas so I will be watching this online tomorrow, recap to come.

Watching the commerical for Beowulf — looks awful. I remember reading that Senior Year in high school. meh.
