Guess who I saw?

December 9, 2007

Project Runway:
So in this weeks episode the designers are asked to pick a fashion trend that is out of style and make it work in today’s fashion. But they are put into groups of three and are asked to incorporate all of the ideas into a cohesive pattern. I can’t decide what I think. I am glad that they are pushing these people into tough situations to see their creativity and stuff but these things just seem unrealistic. In the end the group that won incorporated Overalls, Poodle skirts, and 70’s flare into three really cute outfits. I was kinda surprised that Christian’s group didn’t win but meh. Christopher (the costume designer) is OUT. Next week looks kinda crazy

Dirty Sexy Money:
What an episode. The Brief synopsis goes like this. Simon Elder and Karen are still sleeping together but it turns out she is totally using him after her dad told her too —huh? But she is starting to fall for him ut oh. Juliet has a boyfriend who she wants to loose her virginity too and he has some sort of weird accent and I’m sure will hurt her in the long end. Carmalita thinks she is being followed and then ends up getting kidnapped hmm. Patrick pretty much looses his job and he decides to leave the church and work for his dad. Jeremy gets high with Nick’s wife, he kisses her, he confesses he was lying to his girl, she leaves him, and Nick’s wife gets fired from her job bc a giant sponge smells like pot HAHA. Then they watch the nutcracker.

Friday Night Lights
We open with Landry confessing that he killed the rapist guy, but not saying it was out of self defense – he is basically being a stubborn idiot saying he wanted him dead and not helping himself out at all. I do not get this. OMG Carlotta in bed with Matt and they are joking about it — this is kinda weird. Does anyone else thing baby Gracie is kinda weird looking? Asshole Julie is the Godmother, that’s nice –maybe she will stop being a little bitch now. Jason is back in this episode and he is going to try online dating. This Isabella girl looks just like Lyla — and when he gets a phone call for a date it’s right in front of Lyla, surprise surprise. Wow Rigggins roommate is a psycho stalker and eventually Riggins leaves and ends up camping outside of the Taylors home. Isabella and Jason have there date – she is totally fug – and “peeing” turns her on – some redheaded waitress helps Jason out and you know they are totally gonna hook up. In the meantime Santiago finally gets some sense knocked into him by Buddy Garrison and he kicks ass and practically wins the football game for the Panthers! Jason doesn’t come home from his wild hookup with the redheaded waitress and he tells his parents he is moving out. They have Gracie’s christening and Landry confesses that it was self defense *after Tyra tell him she was scarred for her life*, the police are not pressing charges. The End.

In other news cutie David Blue (aka Micheal’s boyfriend on Ugly Betty) was totally mugged this week! It was on Just Jared yesterday but TMZ picked it up today! Here is the link to his blog :

David Blue Myspace

Also in other news on the way to Mood last night me and a few friends def. saw Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Penelope Cruz (ok so I didnt really see her but he paparazzo said that she was with them) coming out of a private party at Parc in Hollywood — I tried to take a photo but it’s just of their car. Still reallly cool. I don’t usually get that starstruck around people or do I really see that many stars out there but to see Tom Cruise & David Beckham earlier in the week and now these guys — I guess I really do live in LA.

I’m adultrapping you

November 29, 2007

Well as we all know i have 6 TV shows on Wednesday night and as I usually watch 4 — alas tonight I could only do three! I’m tired So Kid Nation, Pushing Daises, and Project Runway will have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime:

America’s Next Top Model:
Hey did you know that Heather has Asburgers (sp?) syndrome? Because I had no idea. Why don’t you tell us again ANTM? PS Heather totally had a Burberry umbrella — privileged people do not need to be on reality shows. Anyway, today is the Go See challenge — which usually is quite entertaining because they are always given a time limit, the models always forget that there would be traffic (shock traffic in a major city at 6pm? It happens everywhere ladies) and thus they come back late. Loved how at the end Jenna saw Heather running around without her taxi instead of her being like oh well come in my cab she goes “I’m Sorry”. LOVE IT, Love Jenna — Jenna for the win! This year we have three late and two on time – Bianca wins the challenge, woo, and as her prize she gets to be a spokesperson or something for the Beijing Olympics — dont you think they would want to use models I dunno from their own country? Turns out this ties into the fact that the final four will be traveling to Beijing next week. Photo shoot is by Nigel (was he ever a model bc he is gorgeous). Panel time — its either Heather or Jenna bc thats who the interviews were all for this week — its looking like Jenna when BAM Heather is sent home. Yeaaaahhh!!!! Lets hope Jenna does better next week bc she totally takes the best photos.

Gossip Girl:

Hey it’s Thanksgiving the week after Thanksgiving. Huh? We start with Thanksgiving last year when B & S & N were BFF. Then it comes back to real time and we see a total B&S Biatch fest when S confronts B about Chuck. Am I talking in mores code? Love the Van Der Woodsten family going to China town for Thanksgiving “Jews have been doing it on Christmas since Forever” (in reference to eating Chinese Food). LonelyBoy decides to invite S and her fam to dinner unbeknown to him the parentals all know each other well haha bc rockstar dad Rufus and debutant/ex groupie S’s mom totally hooked up back in the day. On the flip side B is an ex bulimic and shes gone back to her old ways — but promises to see the doctor! Does anyone else want to know the trick to how she gets her hair to stay so curly (although she does kinda look like the cowardly lion). The End. Oh yeah and Nate’s dad tried to kill himself or something equally dramatic. XOXO

Dirty Sexy Money:
It is official — I heart Gossip Girl & Pushing Daises but DSM is for sure my favorite new show of the season. I didn’t even write anything down — no quotes, no favorite moments because it was just that great of an episode. Let me just say whoever writes for Jeremy Darling is amazing. I adore him. I can’t even describe the fantasticness that he is but just know that he is. We find out that Juliet is back from her trip from nowhere *cough rehab* and that SHOCKER Brian is the child that Nick is related to. Karen is hilarious and sleeps with Simon Elder ut oh, and Patrick just can’t give up his Tranny. Best moment so far — Brian saying goodbye to Brian Jr. — I’ve only cried twice this TV Season at my favorite Friday Night Lights and now at this. When Brian gave Brian Jr. the watch that Nick just gave Brian from their Dad ahh I just melted. *hahah that sentence is just way off* Anyways Great Episode.

I know people are reading this — let me know what you thought of last nights TV !!

IM BAACCKK

November 26, 2007

Well I am back in LA and I am almost caught up on all of the TV I missed last week. Lets just do a short recap:

Kid Nation:
Holy crap why would they elect Greg into the council he is an asshole! But totally glad that Laurel won the gold star. Does anyone have a little crush on green guy Michael — if he were ten years older he would be great haha does he have an older brother?

Dirty Sexy Money:
meh ok episode — found myself not paying attention towards most of it, mainly because I was packing — maybe I’ll watch again. Sources say that we will find out this week who the odd-Darling out is. PS did I mention I love Jeremy Darling? Did we see how Juliet is still missing — they must have taped these episodes during her “rehab stint”.

Project Runway
:
Sarah Jessica Parker yeaah! So glad Christian is still safe and I totally want to buy a vest now.

America’s Next Top Model:
The stripper is gone yaahoo. Chantal and Selicia totally sold that cover girl ad they are in it for the long run — and although I still like Heather I mean really how could she be a cover girl? I also didn’t really like her photo-shoot and I really didn’t like Biancas either what a bitch!

Ugly Betty:
Much better episode — although I hated the whole Bradford dream sequence — when did this show become so trippy? I really liked the idea of everyone pulling together to get this magazine up and running and I loved Daniels idea of the blank front page. I feel bad for Amanda…she’ll find her dad eventually.

Survivor was a recap, Gossip Girl was a repeat, Friday Night Lights wasn’t on, and no more The Office until la strike is over
Speaking of the Strike watch this video:

Halloween

November 1, 2007

It’s 10:45 on Halloween night in Vegas. I’m watching TV AWESOME. Just a few more days here in Vegas thankfully and I will be back in LaLaLand. Recaps on TV Watching Tonight:

Pushing Daises:
Good Episode — I love the concept of this show, but it makes me sad that I’m not as captivated as I was with the first few episodes. I did enjoy the Kristin Chenoweth centered episode haha Cheno as a jockey, Hilarious! Next episode in two weeks looks better.

Dirty Sexy Money :
Loved this episode. THis is the best ensemble cast on TV right now. Isn’t Jeremy Darling just darling? I’m not sure quite how I feel about the whole Simon Elder subplot story thing. I’m glad Nick told Trip about why he was working with Elder… Brian and Brian JR. are really endearing.

America’s Next Top Model — recap week BOORING

Gossip Girl - Repeat of the Pilot BORING

Kid Nation – is it bad I enjoy watching this horrid show? Anyways, no DVR in Vegas so I will be watching this online tomorrow, recap to come.

Watching the commerical for Beowulf — looks awful. I remember reading that Senior Year in high school. meh.
