I watched half of DWTS last night at the gym, and noticed something interesting. Remember Zach Guilford? From Dance Wars? The HOTTIE? Who was engaged to Julianne Hough? Yeah he was in the audience last night for Dancing with the Stars! He was sitting right behind the judges, so everytime Len talked, you could see him! Check it out after Julianne and Adam’s dance (hahah oh the unicycle!)
(At about 4:16 in, To Len’s right – technically over Len’s left shoulder. the video is kinda crappy, but that’s definately him!!)
Interesting! Anyone heard any news about them being back together?
So all the major websites are reporting this and I think it’s pretty exciting. The Emmys will most likely be adding a new award to the ceremonies in Sept. Reality Host award! That’s right we might get to see Ryan Seacrest up there accepting an award for his hosting duties. Lets be realistic tho Phil Keogan will probably win since thats the only reality show that wins anything at the Emmys. (I still love you Amazing Race!!). Should be interesting.

Ok, I am WAY behind in my TV gossip, since I completely missed the fact that Zach from Dance Wars (pause for drool) has an ex-fiancee – none other than Julianne Hough from Dancing with the Stars!!!!! An older post on The Evil Beet confirms it and matches the story Zach told at auditions: he was a dancer and quit to become a dentist – until the Dance Wars tryouts (and getting un-engaged). The blog Stars Dancing on TV has more information, but basically, they were engaged and now they are not. Even more interesting is that he was around the DWTS tour with Julianne . . . and the Dance Wars judges. Interesting . . . The fan site at ABC has a lot of good information too.
It’s Latin Night. Once again, Carrie Ann’s team looks good together, like a music and dance troupe, while Bruno’s kids remind me of the TV show California Dreams, but hotter and much better dancers (aka, a generic mixed-gender pop group). I’m skipping over all the packages in between the dancing, because, honestly, no one cares. Plus, I doubt any of our readers here watch High School Musical. Read the rest of this entry »
Will try to post tonight!! The real world job made it a little hard to do the blog job last week, and I peaced-out to Orlando on the weekend, so I’ll try to add to Lost, as well as post One Tree Hill, Cashmere Mafia, maybe Lipstick Jungle (If I decide it’s worth a post). Tomorrow, I’ll add Dance Wars from tonight.
Unfortunately, my phone rang during the first team dance and I didnt get off of it until the elimination, so I dont have much to say. Someone is getting kicked off, but they are still going to perform this week.
First dance – all together, 50s theme. Zach is HOT HOT HOT. The whole thing is kinda lame, but the dancing and singing is great. (FFWD through the first 1:20)
So last night on Dance Wars: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, the actual competition began. The teams are a little funny. Carrie Anne probably has the best female voices, but she has some GREAT guy dancers, whereas, Bruno has the best guys all around (oh Zach!) and the best female dancers, but they aren’t the best singers, except Lacey. I really cant stand Charity. I have no idea what Bruno was thinking picking her. Her dancing is not nearly good enough to make up for her CRAPPY singing. They had to sing survivor last week in the elimination, and she literally shouted it. it was gross singing. boo!
So I got all excited when I checked my email this morning because I had TWO comments on Bruno vs. Carrie Anne: Dance Wars. And then i found out they were from Kristin. Hahaha. So I figured I would post her comments, answer and maybe provide more info, since this show is awesome and I am not an idol fan (though judging by the clicks on this website, i am in a major minority!)
Ok, I REALLY dont want to blog on this show, but I LOVE it, so judging by the clicks on this post, I’ll make a decision.
Y’all, the show rocks! If you like so you think you can dance, you will LOVE this. I have my guy and girl fav’s picked out, and let me tell you, there is a reason above and beyond the show being good to watch:
His name is Zach, he can sing, he can dance and he can make me drool.
My fav girl pick is Liz or Elizabeth, who can sing SOOO well, and has never trained in dance, but has hung in there with all the trained kids. Plus she wore a dress from Arden B in the first episode’s big dance that i LOVE.
