Chantal

I would say she looks fierce!!

CW Renewals

TV Time

December 13, 2007

OK so I know this week was mostly focused on The Hills and other TV gossip — but hey there isn’t a lot on. Here is what I watched tonight:

Project Runway:
This week is an amazing challenge. All women who have lost a lot of weight — wearing their favorite outfits — and the designers must take their old fat outfits and make them into fabulous new ones. In the meantime one of our favorites Jack is getting sick — some sort of sore in his mouth that is making his whole face swell up. Unfortunately do to this he must leave the competition to get treatment. (Soo sad — maybe Heidi will have him back next season how awesome would that be!). But in good news Chris who was voted out last week was asked back soo yeaah. Overall the designers made some great outfits. I particularly loved Christians (winner and he has immunity that’s the first mention of that), Kevin’s, and Rami’s. I think that they are the three to beat. Although I really like Jillian in general I don’t know why the judges were fawning over that dress she made. It looks complicated but it was just blah for me. Anyways, Steve who managed to make a Wedding dress into a funeral garbage bag was Auf’d.

ANTM Finale Notes

December 13, 2007

America’s Next Top Model:
Ok so here we are — season finale. We start with another Cover girl commerical and photo shoot — I thought they said the one they did before was going to be the chosen ad for Cover Girl, apparently not. I thought all of the takes were super cheesey but apparently the director and panel loved them. There is a difference between being happy and being campy. Panel time and I agree with LB they are super harsh on Jenna, and I can’t believe that these girls, who we all thought were so close — esp compared to other season — could say such mean things to Jenna. I’m glad she stood up for herself, and I think that Chantal was really upset by what she said and wished she hadn’t been so harsh. Jenna is out. So Sad, she really did take the best pictures. Seventeen Magazine shoot looks pretty good haha I dunno they didn’t show us the winning photo at the end of the episode. Fashion show — Selicia really stole the show, she has one of the best walks of all the different cycles and Chantal totally looked out of place. I felt AWFUL for her when stiltman fell. I really wanted either Jenna or Chantal to win, but alas the winner is Selisha. (yeah LB and I will never know how to spell your name). Really the final three if you could put them into one person you would have a superstar. Chantals personality and speaking presence, Selicias walk, and Jennas photos — think about it. Till next season!

LB: Harsh first panel – good for Jenna for sticking up for herself. Why do ppl hate sarcasm so much?

The commercial they spliced together with the girls – notice Salecia has all the key shots?

Why is Chantal WEEPING?? i mean like BOOO HOOOOing that Jenna is leaving, especially when she said she didnt want her sister looking up to Jenna. And she KEEPS crying. Dry it up honey, you got a catwalk to do! I REALLY think Salecia is going to win

OMG Chantal is still f-ing crying. OVER IT!

haha Tyra – its all about her, she gets a processional into the fashion show, then “WE (read: I) are going to DILIBERATE (she makes that sound like its not a word).” “III didnt think they would go this far! IIII am so proud of them!! III’m gonna CRUSH the girl that loses!!” It cracks me up!

I’m thinking Salecia is gonna win, but honestly i dont know.

AND IM SO RIGHT!!! Congrats Salecia (Sorry I never learned how to spell your name!)!

I had a good cry

December 6, 2007

So I am ALMOST caught up on television. Tonight I watched:
America’s Next Top Model, Kid Nation, Survivor, and Gossip Girl and here are their recaps:

America’s Next Top Model:
In the words of LB THE BITCH IS GONE HAHA. Karma is a bitch and so is Bianca. The challenge this week was for the girls to go into a mall in Shanghai and accessorize their wardrobe. Bianca being the biatch that she is decides to pretty much sabotage Jennas chance by telling her to waste time and go across the street *and there was nothing there!!* I would have slapped her. Well Karma is a bitch and Jenna won the challenge. But LB you are right Jennas attitude is getting on my nerves!! Why is it that Jaslene’s Cover Girl commercials are so awful and then the Drew Barrymore one that always follows is AHmazing. I don’t get it. The girls do a pretty cool photo shoot — shot by Tyra — on the great wall. Then they take a group photo which I think is a great way to compare them and really the only person who didn’t stand out for me was Bianca and I’m really glad that they decided to get rid of her — the other three clearly deserved to continue. I will leave you with this Bianca quote that sums up her time on the show. “I wasn’t thinking about the other girls — I was thinking about Bianca”. sigh. Season Finale next week

Kid Nation:
Ok so I know not a lot of people watch this show but I found myself bawling my eyes out at this episode. These kids!! Ok so lets start at the very beginning (a very good place to start…) Sophia is still the sheriff and the council leaves town to go look for Indians and leaves her in charge, much to the dismay of the other kids. Turns out Sophia is a great leader and all of the kids really respect her. Unlike the council and specifically Greg the asshole, who Taylor hopes DIES while he is on his trip, a little harsh beauty queen. While the council is on the way to see the Native American Indians (what is the proper term?) we get this amazing quote: “It looks like an igloo — no dude it’s a teepee”. HA Kids. Alex and Jared our two intellectual kids go on their own adventure and come across some pretty wicked bones “Think of it as an anatomy class” DUDE there is no way these kids had an anatomy class – aren’t they in like 2nd grade!? On the way out Jared (carrying a giant pelvis bone) proclaims “Pelvis has left the building….I know it’s corny” HAHAH Love him. The council is asking the leaders of the tribe they visit for advice and in the meantime the rest of the town competes in a challenge. The win the reward and the two options are a giant rock plaque signifying their time at bonanza *starting to tear up* or hot air balloon rides where they can look back on their time there from above. Hard decision and it’s all up to sheriff sophia — who picks the Hot Air Balloon rides. I’m surprised more kids aren’t afraid to go on these — maybe it’s because it looks like they only lifted a few feet into the air ahaha. The council comes back and it’s time to decide who should get the gold star. Most people are voting for Migle (one of the girls they were calling Paris & Nicole before– I mean really?) Alex the cute 9 year old genius, or Jared the weirdo smart 11 year old. Then we see Zach the former council leader who is so good with his words and his leadership that you forget he is only ten years old. He asks the council to consider him for the gold star — which is clearly very hard for him as he starts to cry — while asshole Greg starts laughing at him! Kids can be so cruel. Zach leaves and decides that it is completely disrespectful of the council to laugh at him when he is pouring his heart out to them, so he confronts them about it. Greg puts on a total front and says that he respects him and he didn’t mean to laugh which is total bullshit and DK totally calls him out on it. This Greg kid needs a good ass whooping. At the town council meeting the gold star goes to Alex and he is completely shocked which makes his win all the better. The moment that got me all teared up and i literally starting bawling my eyes out was when the kids had a campfire at the end of the episode. They are all sitting around the fire and trying to decide if they are excited to go home or sad to be leaving their friends. Then Anjay who was an original council member says thru tears “this is the only place i’ve ever fit in”. It’s just heartbreaking and real and it just makes me wish that this show taught these kids to be tolerant of other children and people from all over and to not judge one another. Great Episode.

Survivor:
P.G. wants to stir some things up and that is how the episode starts. The reward challenge is a giant maze and OH NO. GREAT I’m already bawling my eyes out from Kid Nation and now I find out it’s the family member episode of Survivor. I don’t even know these people but I always cry my eyes out at the family episode. In a “could it be another Johnny Fairplay” moment we find out that Todd’s sister has a miscarriage. First of all Todd is not that stupid to do that trick again — he’s a huge fan of the game and he knows that everyone will be thinking that. Secondly this is his sister and her child that we are talking about, it’s not something that I think someone would joke about. And we find out later in the episode that it was indeed completely truthful. Denise wins and decides to bring Amanda & Todd on her reward, which includes their family members. May I also say that holy crap Amanda and her sister look exactly alike — as do Todd and his sister. Immunity challenge which could have easily been won by Amanda or Todd was won by PG AGAIN ugh. Denise is totally the swing vote tonight and she decides to stick with her original tribe and they vote out cutey Erik. (PS what in the hell was with that awful tribal music right as they were all walking in!?). Only two episodes left!

Gossip Girl:
LB was right! This was a great episode! First question is uhhh I thought Deb balls were only a Southern thing. I am from the North East and I have NEVER heard of this happening at all — can anyone else confirm? haha. But then again this is a Josh Schwartz show and we know he had a Deb episode on his other amazing show. The OC. sigh RIP.
Nate wants B back aww and she sewed a button with a heart onto his sleeve back in the day so cute. Jenny is a total biatch to her mom! When did she become so materialistic? S’s gma is in town for the Deb Ball and she surprise surprise she is going to die. (or is she?) Loved the reference from Chuck on “Shes just not that into you”. We find out that the gma is quite a little biatch as she trys to buy off the Humphrey family so that Dan won’t escort S to the Deb Ball. (She wants Carter to escort her instead — turns out his real name is Sebastian and I think that is a way better name then Carter for this show — don’t you think?). Turns out not only did she try to buy off the Humphreys — the reason that S’s mom broke things off with Rufus is because if she didn’t gma would take away her inheritance. WHAT. Dan goes to S and tells her about the gma — which she totally doesn’t believe — which is understandable, I mean this is her family. S totally stands up to her mom and mom agrees and goes to talk to Dan about how he is a great guy and should totally go rescue her at the Deb Ball — which he does yeah!! S stands up to gma and we find out shes not really dying. WOW. Chuck is sad that B and Nate are getting back together and we end with Apologize from One Republic (the should have used the original version not the cheesey one with Timbaland). In case anyone else is wondering the band performing at the Deb ball is “The Pierces” and I thought they totally rocked — kinda reminded me of Rosin Murphy. Here is a video:

Tomorrow — Friday Night Lights, and recaps from Dirty Sexy Money & Project Rnwa

Well, SOME of us werent at the Spice Girls concert . . .

December 6, 2007

haha, kidding K, girl power! hehe. So here’s my recap of the night:

Private Practice
Addison tries to make a friend out of Pete whilst being romanced by her cop (Christopher from Gilmore Girls). I cant think of him as anything but that character, like “why is Christopher dressing up as a cop? Loreli is going to be sooo mad that hes acting like a cop and trying to romance Addison!” Addison and Naomi help the couple that couldnt have sex earlier in the season (the girl with the “broken” vag.) get preggers – he has almost no viable swimmers, so they go in THERE and dig one out. Any guy who might read this – which i would think are VERY few – just fainted. It is a successful procedure (is that real though? can they do that?) and the couple goes home to wait and see if they get preggers. Cooper is still banging Charlotte from the hospital, apparently shes an aggressive, I’m-always-on-top kinda gal, sexy, but kinda a ball breaker. To get back at her Cooper steals her New Dad class, all of her dads, and sets up the class at their practice. Goes ok except for this one guy – he sends in his second asst. to take the class for him. His name is Jack, so of course, Cooper says what we are all thinking “Take the class yourself, Jack…ASS!” hahah. It was kinda an awkward scene, but funny. Cooper and Charlotte kinda decide to start dating, but i doubt they are gonna tell anyone. Violet is all insecure because Cooper isnt clinging to her anymore. Idiot, just go for it, tell him you love him. I cant stand women like that: uses him in every way that you would a boyfriend – mental and emotional support, friends, date/escort, but doesnt sleep with him and insists that they are just friends. Believe me, none of my guy friends would do any of that for me unless they were getting some or were trying to get some. The best story line by FAR is the Naomi, Sam, Del triangle. Naomi still loves Sam, Sam still loves her, but they are both afraid to get back together after getting divorced. Del loves Naomi. After a weird story line about a geriatric fight club, they both basically fight for Naomi – Del kisses her in her office, and Sam kisses her in public, letting them al know he wants her back. Its sooo cute. Now if addison and Pete would get it together . . .

ANTM
Usually a K post, so all i have to say is DING DONG THE BITCH IS GONE! Goodbye Bianca!!! I figured when Heather left you would quit being so bitchy, like back in the days right after they scalped your ugly purple hair, but no. You bitched unmercilessly and i cheered to see you go! I think Salecia has a good chance of winning, sorry K, Jenna’s attitude is starting to bother me!

Gossip Girl
Usually taken on by K, I know, but last night was REALLY good. I’ll let her do the actual recap, but love love love the way Dan and S are progressing, he is ADORABLE, especially when he dips her at the ball and kisses her. I think Go Fug Yourself made a comment about how much they love him, but that he is setting teen girls up for dissappointment, because have YOU ever met a teen boy (or older boy for that matter) like that? I love my boyfriend, but even he isnt that good! Im almost even starting to feel bad for upChuck, if he would get over his spencer-pratt-ness, he would probably be good for B, but he might turn her (more) evil, so maybe not. And wow, Jenny is turning into a little diva, its not cute. I’ll save the rest for K, you know you love me, xoxo

PS – I dont blog about the Real World (really dont wanna, it would just be about fights, honestly), and I only watch it out of morbid curiosity, and because its only 30 mins, and with Tivo, its like 20. But, have to say, is anyone else digging the hell out of the fact that Parisa kicked out Trisha, and everyone got all upset (asses) until Issac came back and reminded everyone that they hated that bitch!?! haha there was some line from Issac in the confessional that went like “Parissa felt threatened, Trisha was a bitch, Trisha is gone. Issac sees nothing wrong with this.” hahahahah nice job Issac, thanks for standing up for Parisa, i like her, and Kelly Anne is the stupidest southern bitch out there, thanks for giving us all a bad name, not just southern girls, but girls in general. Note: it is not cool to idealize this wonderful relationship with someone that you didnt like just cause someone else is standing up to her bitchiness. At least she appologized. and SHAME on Ashli and Dunbar!!!! Bad Bad Bad kids, I could have told you where all that spooning was headed!!!

Kristin, youre up!

DWTS – Got Milk? – and others

December 3, 2007

Im baaaaack!! Chicago was kinda sucky (the trip, not the city itself) and ive finally caught up on most of my TV. I’ll do a little recap for them all as soon as i finish with…..DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!

So thank goodness Marie didnt win. That doll outfit and dance was ridic. completely. she lost her freakin marbles. thank goodness shes out.So I was still really hoping that Mel b. would win. She and Maks are the cutest dancers, and he should win because of the sexy sparkly suspenders alone. Plus, im a little sick of Julieanne and Helio. He acts kinda like he was macking on her and shes like 19 ppl!!! EEWWW. Either way, Helio won, which was ok i guess, and the weird part was someone handing him a half gallon of milk and him acting like that was the trophy. Anyone know what he did that?
EDIT, 12/05: found out from US Magazine online that they give Indy 500 winners a jug of milk right after they win, so Helio’s sister gave him that when he won DWTS. Maybe they should think about picking dancers with less obscure “sports.” or at least including that in the TONS of packages they ran on the finale!

Greys Anatomy
so I am actually glad for reruns. I only missed on episode. the short version: Izzie feels left out with Mere and Christina, as usual. she tries to prove she is hard core cardio, but it doesnt really work. George is boring. Derrick is moving in on the neuro nurse. Sloane wont give up on trying to get a date with Hahn. Mere is trying to get herself back to being with Derrick (not doing so well). Christina is being a hardcore bitch. the most interesting story line is with Bailey. Her husband is PISSED cause shes never there, and she misses lunch with him because she is having to operate on a white supremacist (“Dont ever call me the Nazi again!”). Who doesnt trust that she wont kill him. ass. I like the story line, but it annoys me at the spouses of doctors, men or women, who get all pissy because their husband or wife is at the hospital all the time. Um hello?? What did you think was gonna happen? i know it happens in real life, but as the girlfriend of a doctor (almost a doctor) it annoys me when they do that!!! Either way, I hope it all works out for Bailey

The Hills
Agreed with everything Kristin said, the She-Pratt is one of those girls i HATE!!! and i love the part where shes all “I am Heidi’s BEST FRIEND” and the previews for next week have her telling spencer that she doesnt think Heidi is committed. What a biatch.

ANTM
Glad Heather is gone, REALLY glad Lisa is gone

Private Practice
Um Holy Crap Cooper and the fem-nazi from the hospital!! I like the ex marrieds getting back together, and the rest was ok

Men in Trees
eh alright episode, I dont like this Patrick having amnesia thing. Him sleeping with Annie and it being much better than before is funny!! Marin calling Jack’s mom is a little stalkerish, but cute. Hope Jack is ok!

Desperate Housewives: Really good episodes. Last week: Susan finds out about Mike’s addiction, empties his pills. This week: He gets another perscription from Orson, who feels bad about running him down last season, and when susan finds those too and gets rid of them, he goes through major withdrawl, knocks Susan down the stairs, gets into a fight with an orderly, gets handcuffed to a chair and susan threatens to leave him if he doesnt go to rehab. Last Week: Bree tries to get the fam together. This week: Bree basically sacrifices her son to have a happy little family of 3. She also gets up in Adam and Catherine’s business with the crazy girl that looks like Lisa Loeb, who locks herself in Bree’s tornado room. Cause shes nuts. Last week: Lynette is cleared of cancer and runs her mom off cause her daughters hate her (maybe for a little reason, but they are pretty heinously mean), but Lynette goes and gets her back and moves her in with her gay ex husband. This week: Lynette is a seriously selfish bitch to McClusky, moves her husband and kids in to her basement, then whines when McClusky’s friend’s cat makes Tom asthmatic. Ughh its SOOO rude!!! Last week: Gabby knocked Victor overboard his boat and might have killed him. This week: they find Victor, he threatens Carlos in the middle of the tornado, then gets a fence post through him, ouch! Glad hes gone. Oh, did I mention theres a Dorothy Gale like tornado in Fairview? and that it roars down Wisteria Lane? Yeah cause it did. Gabby waits it out with Edie, Bree and Orson wait it out with Catherine and Adam in the china cupboard while the nutso woman is in their safe room. They all learn that Adam actually DID have an affair with the nutso, which kinda brings Catherine and Bree closer. Susan and Mike wait it out in the hospital. McClusky and Lynette end up back at Lynette’s in the tub with a mattress over them. They survive, but go outside to see McClusky’s house is completely totaled – with Lynette’s husband and kids supposedly burried in the rubble. No previews!!! Hope they all live!!

Brothers and Sisters
the VERY short version. Kitty gets married, Robert’s career might be in trouble, Sara needs a man and might find one in Steven Webber, Rebecca might have an incestuous love for Justin, Justin is going out with Lena, Lena slept with Tommy but he broke it off, Tommy’s wife and kid are back, Kevin broke it off with the preacher man and is back with Scotty, and Nora goes out with an old flame who tokes up at Kitty’s wedding. REALLY great episode, but watch it online if you want more than this!I’ll be back doing regular postings this week, and they will be better than this!

I’m adultrapping you

November 29, 2007

Well as we all know i have 6 TV shows on Wednesday night and as I usually watch 4 — alas tonight I could only do three! I’m tired So Kid Nation, Pushing Daises, and Project Runway will have to wait until tomorrow. In the meantime:

America’s Next Top Model:
Hey did you know that Heather has Asburgers (sp?) syndrome? Because I had no idea. Why don’t you tell us again ANTM? PS Heather totally had a Burberry umbrella — privileged people do not need to be on reality shows. Anyway, today is the Go See challenge — which usually is quite entertaining because they are always given a time limit, the models always forget that there would be traffic (shock traffic in a major city at 6pm? It happens everywhere ladies) and thus they come back late. Loved how at the end Jenna saw Heather running around without her taxi instead of her being like oh well come in my cab she goes “I’m Sorry”. LOVE IT, Love Jenna — Jenna for the win! This year we have three late and two on time – Bianca wins the challenge, woo, and as her prize she gets to be a spokesperson or something for the Beijing Olympics — dont you think they would want to use models I dunno from their own country? Turns out this ties into the fact that the final four will be traveling to Beijing next week. Photo shoot is by Nigel (was he ever a model bc he is gorgeous). Panel time — its either Heather or Jenna bc thats who the interviews were all for this week — its looking like Jenna when BAM Heather is sent home. Yeaaaahhh!!!! Lets hope Jenna does better next week bc she totally takes the best photos.

Gossip Girl:

Hey it’s Thanksgiving the week after Thanksgiving. Huh? We start with Thanksgiving last year when B & S & N were BFF. Then it comes back to real time and we see a total B&S Biatch fest when S confronts B about Chuck. Am I talking in mores code? Love the Van Der Woodsten family going to China town for Thanksgiving “Jews have been doing it on Christmas since Forever” (in reference to eating Chinese Food). LonelyBoy decides to invite S and her fam to dinner unbeknown to him the parentals all know each other well haha bc rockstar dad Rufus and debutant/ex groupie S’s mom totally hooked up back in the day. On the flip side B is an ex bulimic and shes gone back to her old ways — but promises to see the doctor! Does anyone else want to know the trick to how she gets her hair to stay so curly (although she does kinda look like the cowardly lion). The End. Oh yeah and Nate’s dad tried to kill himself or something equally dramatic. XOXO

Dirty Sexy Money:
It is official — I heart Gossip Girl & Pushing Daises but DSM is for sure my favorite new show of the season. I didn’t even write anything down — no quotes, no favorite moments because it was just that great of an episode. Let me just say whoever writes for Jeremy Darling is amazing. I adore him. I can’t even describe the fantasticness that he is but just know that he is. We find out that Juliet is back from her trip from nowhere *cough rehab* and that SHOCKER Brian is the child that Nick is related to. Karen is hilarious and sleeps with Simon Elder ut oh, and Patrick just can’t give up his Tranny. Best moment so far — Brian saying goodbye to Brian Jr. — I’ve only cried twice this TV Season at my favorite Friday Night Lights and now at this. When Brian gave Brian Jr. the watch that Nick just gave Brian from their Dad ahh I just melted. *hahah that sentence is just way off* Anyways Great Episode.

I know people are reading this — let me know what you thought of last nights TV !!

IM BAACCKK

November 26, 2007

Well I am back in LA and I am almost caught up on all of the TV I missed last week. Lets just do a short recap:

Kid Nation:
Holy crap why would they elect Greg into the council he is an asshole! But totally glad that Laurel won the gold star. Does anyone have a little crush on green guy Michael — if he were ten years older he would be great haha does he have an older brother?

Dirty Sexy Money:
meh ok episode — found myself not paying attention towards most of it, mainly because I was packing — maybe I’ll watch again. Sources say that we will find out this week who the odd-Darling out is. PS did I mention I love Jeremy Darling? Did we see how Juliet is still missing — they must have taped these episodes during her “rehab stint”.

Project Runway
:
Sarah Jessica Parker yeaah! So glad Christian is still safe and I totally want to buy a vest now.

America’s Next Top Model:
The stripper is gone yaahoo. Chantal and Selicia totally sold that cover girl ad they are in it for the long run — and although I still like Heather I mean really how could she be a cover girl? I also didn’t really like her photo-shoot and I really didn’t like Biancas either what a bitch!

Ugly Betty:
Much better episode — although I hated the whole Bradford dream sequence — when did this show become so trippy? I really liked the idea of everyone pulling together to get this magazine up and running and I loved Daniels idea of the blank front page. I feel bad for Amanda…she’ll find her dad eventually.

Survivor was a recap, Gossip Girl was a repeat, Friday Night Lights wasn’t on, and no more The Office until la strike is over
Speaking of the Strike watch this video:

One Week Anniversary

November 8, 2007

Yeah for having a blog for one week. More yeah for Wednesday night TV. Usually this is my busiest night with FIVE shows to watch. But thanks to the oh so boring CMA Awards (or is it CMT whatever) Pushing Daises and Dirty Sexy Money were not on this week. Which leaves us to review the following:

America’s Next Top Model:
Well Ambreal gets another chance, and believe it or not she survives, and shes not even in the bottom two (or three!). This is the all so infamous “movement episode” which although hilarious is quite boring. The real reason I watch this show, and I feel like a lot of people watch the show, is because of these amazing photos shoots — instead we get a cheesey Enrique Ingleasis *SP??* video shoot. Tyra is going to show the girls how to move like a model — why in Gods name, besides humiliation, would they put them in full body tan bodysuits. Will they be wearing them ever? UCK. Heather looks like she is dying during the “wall” exercise and the “crawl” exercise. HILARIOUS. Surprise Surprise Lisa and Heather are the two chosen girls for the video — if these two are in the final two I’ll scream, a stripper and a weirdo girl. AWESOME. Another gripe I have with ANTM is that they always let you know who is in danger of being in the bottom two from the beginning of the episode, by focusing on that person and having them say at least once “Im amazing” “Ill stay” whatever. We clearly knew it would be Sarah and Chantal in the bottom two this week, but I really thought Chantel would get the boot, too bad bc I liked both of them. Will a plus size model ever win this show?

Kid Nation:
The kids are BORED so they lay on the ground? Classic. The whole episode is centered around a talent show that the kids want to put on. What I was looking forward to see the most? Clearly Jared performing Shakespeare and man he did not disappoint. Someone give this kid his own show. I LOVED little Alex talking about the two girls on the blue team who don’t do anything “They call them Paris & Nicole, I don’t know what that means” ahahah children. Was anyone else completely turned off by the challenge? My parents would have a fit. OK kids you have an hour to chew as much sugary awful bad for your teeth gum as you can and then spit it into someone elses hand go. How many kids besides Laurel have braces? GROSS. AND for Anjay to put someone elses chewed gum into his mouth — what happened to diseases in this town? Green finally wins top honors of getting to be lazy and do nothing. Now the talent show — most of it is pretty lame lol Kelsey clearly is amazing at the piano good for her, some kid does bird noises, Jared does his amazing King Henry monologue (major props for the 11 year old memorizing Shakespeare!), some other kid humor blah blah. I’m surprised they didn’t show Taylor & Lyla whatever her name is, the two beauty queens, showing off their talent — couldn’t they walk and wave? The real talent of the night came AFTER the talent show when DK asks Laurel to sing. I wasn’t expecting much but HOLY CRAP that girl can sing. She should go on another reality show bc for a 12 year old girl her control and tone was fantastic. Great voice I hope she continues and pursues that. But she should learn the words to Amazing Grace before singing it on national tv. :) Gold Star goes to self proclaimed weirdo Kennedy. Now she seems way normal compared to her MOM. Her mom will def. be on BestWeekEver and the Soup this week. WHAT A CRAZY. Pink sweater, pink phone, pink BOW IN HER HAIR *yes this is a mom* and pearls. Screaming her head off and crying. Great end to the episode. Next week they change up the groups a bit.

Finally, Gossip Girl:
Let me just say this to start, WHY do they start every episode recapping the entire season? Why can’t they just recap what happened last time? Do we really need to see S. at that damn train station again? Decent episode — loved all the sex dreams that Dan was having, quite hilarious haha and he watched porn. He is Seth Cohen. Does anyone else think his ex-gf is the stalker much? Did I ever mention that I love B. hair color. I wonder if its natural. I’m glad she finally stuck up for herself and walked out on Nate, but EW CHUCK gross girl.

Speaking of — what is with the name Chuck this year, Chuck on GG, Chuck on Pushing Daises, and obviously the show Chuck. I’m about Chucked out.

till next time XOXO

(only a GG reference I don’t really say that…)

EDIT:
OHH and some Gossip on the Hills — this was on reality blurred WOAH what do we think?

http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/archives/the_hills/2007_Nov_07_lauren_heidi_spencer_sex_tape

A tabloid report suggests a new layer of deception on The Hills: Lauren and Heidi might actually still be friends, not mortal enemies.

In late October, the two feuding stars “were laughing, hugging and being very affectionate with one another. There were no MTV cameras around. This seemed like the real deal. I saw Heidi coming to visit Lauren at her apartment without her fiancé Spencer Pratt,” an anonymous source told Star magazine. The tabloid reports that the two “were seen together the weekend before Halloween getting into Lauren’s black Mercedes convertible, which was parked in the garage of Lauren’s building.”

Meanwhile, the National Enquirer reported today that Heidi’s fiance Spencer Pratt, who was accused of spreading rumors that Lauren Conrad had a sex tape, has “a sex tape of his own that shows him and a few buddies exploring … hot Brazilian babes.” The paper cites an “inside source” who “says Spencer showed the tape to a Hollywood video editor and repeatedly asked him to spruce it up — saying he might secretly release it into the marketplace while claiming it was ‘stolen,’ a la Paris Hilton, Pam Anderson, etc.”

However, Spencer denies that’s true. “I was never on camera, and there is no sex tape. However, I did go to Brazil three years ago to film a jujitsu tournament for a documentary,” Spencer told Us Weekly. However, an anonymous source offered encouragement, saying that the value of such a tape “could be upward of a million dollars. He could turn it into a money-making machine.”

Halloween

November 1, 2007

It’s 10:45 on Halloween night in Vegas. I’m watching TV AWESOME. Just a few more days here in Vegas thankfully and I will be back in LaLaLand. Recaps on TV Watching Tonight:

Pushing Daises:
Good Episode — I love the concept of this show, but it makes me sad that I’m not as captivated as I was with the first few episodes. I did enjoy the Kristin Chenoweth centered episode haha Cheno as a jockey, Hilarious! Next episode in two weeks looks better.

Dirty Sexy Money :
Loved this episode. THis is the best ensemble cast on TV right now. Isn’t Jeremy Darling just darling? I’m not sure quite how I feel about the whole Simon Elder subplot story thing. I’m glad Nick told Trip about why he was working with Elder… Brian and Brian JR. are really endearing.

America’s Next Top Model — recap week BOORING

Gossip Girl - Repeat of the Pilot BORING

Kid Nation – is it bad I enjoy watching this horrid show? Anyways, no DVR in Vegas so I will be watching this online tomorrow, recap to come.

Watching the commerical for Beowulf — looks awful. I remember reading that Senior Year in high school. meh.
