The best of Spoiler Ask

Soo every Monday I read the Spoiler Chat over at Watch with Kristin and every Wednesday I read Ask Ausiello over at TV Guide. I thought it would be fun to just recap some of my favorite questions for you all to read. But I would totally recommend going and reading the whole posts themselves because there’s bound to be some questions on there that you have too! Also, cleary these are SPOILERS so read with caution

Spoiler Chat:

Jason in Chicago: I heard that Evel Dick has been asked back for this next edition of BIG BROTHER! Lovebirds Nick and Daniele, too?
The rumor that Evel Dick has been cast again has not been confirmed, and sources tell me it’s untrue. We may see E.D. stop by the BB house this season, but I don’t believe he’ll be living there. As for Nick and Daniele, they broke up! A friend of mine ran into Ms. Donato at a West Hollywood club last weekend, and she said Nick had packed it up and moved back to good ol’ Minnesota. It’s over between ‘em!

Holly in New York: Is Nathan really dead on HEROES? And please tell me Kristen Bell and Ali Larter are back in the new season. We need our hot girls!
A well-placed source tells me there appears to be a plan in place for when the show returns, and it involves Kristen Bell, David Anders and…yes, Adrian Pasdar and Ali Larter all back in the mix and most likely as series regulars. Happy news? I’d say so, but you tell me in the Comments section below!

Stephanie in Lynchburg, Virginia: I have officially hooked both of my sisters on the wonderfulness that is FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS. They watched my season-one DVDs in a week. As a reward for converting bad television viewers into good television viewers, do you have any scoop on our favorite football team, just in time for playoffs?
Ages ago we told you about a strip-club scene, and we finally get it in the next ep. Riggins and Saracen are enjoying the company of the Landing Strip ladies when something bad happens. A certain beloved father figure comes to the rescue, and a certain surrogate son finally has the freakout he’s been working toward all season. Also, the Tyra-Jean-Landry triangle is resolved. In whose favor? Well, you’ll have to watch and see.

Tricia in Ireland: Your frenemy has predicted that Lyla’s newfound love Chris (Matt Czuchry) won’t be around long. What say ye?
Czrazy! I hear he signed up to do five episodes total, and that could always be expanded, so…game on. Also, wanna know who I (swear to God) almost hit with my car in the rain as I left the Shrine last night? A certain frenemy I almost (fake) killed once. Please, Lord, don’t let me end up in prison. By the way, I cannot stand Logan (Czuchry) with Lyla. He seems a Small (Boy) Wonder bot—unemotional and too kind to be true. You?

Ask Ausiello:
Question: I hear that the strike is over! Is it true?— Danouk

Ausiello: Nothing’s official, but the buzz is that a tentative agreement has been reached, with an announcement coming as early as tomorrow. But it’s hard to tell what’s solid intel and what’s just spin. To wit: In the past 24 hours, one source close to the negotiations insisted that talk of a resolution was way premature. “There’s no deal,” maintained my spy. “That’s just misinformation put out by the AMPTP to pressure the WGA.” But moments before I put this column to bed, I heard from another very plugged-in source that the deal is done. Short story shorter: There’s cause for optimism, but not celebration. Yet.

Question: If the strike ends in the next week or so, can the current TV season be salvaged? — Donald
Ausiello: Depends on the network and the show. A source at one of the Big 4 tells me that should the strike end by mid-February, one best-case scenario being bandied about has established series going back into production and working through June, making more episodes for this season and some for next. Then they’ll take a summer break before starting regular production on next season. The reason for this is twofold: They don’t want to bail out on this season, but they also don’t want to go to the expense of putting shows back into production for just two or three episodes. One industry observer describes this as “a smart plan,” while acknowledging that there’s another variable in all this: the actors. “The trouble is, a lot of actors schedule hiatus movies, or just elaborate vacations. And if they ask them to work through certain dates, that could trigger some contract issues.” Now, continue reading for the worst-case scenario….

Question: A Friday Night Lights question here. Please tell me if we’ll see Julie do anything else for the remainder of the season other than roll her eyes? — Devon
Ausiello: I’ve seen this Friday’s episode and, while there’s plenty of eye-rolling on Julie’s part — not to mention a little door-slamming — the little demon spawn’s histrionics are somewhat justified this time around. Let’s just say all hell breaks lose when Ma Taylor bails on a very important date with her daughter. Also this Friday, Saracen’s post-breakup descent into madness comes to a head in his bathtub, Landry is forced to choose between Tyra and Jean, and Connie Britton turns in a performance that will put Emmy/Golden Globe/SAG voters to shame.

Question: What’s the deal with Dirty Sexy Money? There are three episodes left — any idea when they’re airing? — Kristin
Ausiello: No idea whatsoever. And I’ve been checking hourly.

Question: Lost is tomorrow! We have been waiting for so long! Any scoop? — Nathan
Ausiello: A big premiere demands an even bigger scoop: I’m hearing that a significant death occurs sometime after Episode 4, but before Episode 8.
