One Tree Hill…from LAST week (sorry!)
Ok, this post is a week late, and I am sorry. In other, good news, because Apple couldn’t find a part for my computer, they are sending me a brand new one!!! Today!!!! And, I will be getting my birthday present, an iPod Touch!!! It will be a good week for technology, or at least it should be. My arms disagree from playing about 3 hours worth of Dancing with the Stars on my Wii. Its not as girly as you would think, kinda reminds me of Guitar Hero, but I can actually play this (unlike Guitar Hero)! Anyhoo, One Tree Hill last week …
Pretty basic, setting up the season. Hayley and Nathan and Jamie are a family again, and the hot nanny helped. I feel trouble coming from the hot nanny, if not because that’s always trouble, then because Hayley says at least once per episode, “Am I crazy for hiring a hot nanny?” Yes, Hayley, you are.
Luke has started writing, overcame the writer’s block **COINCIDENCE** when Peyton came back to town! Surprise! The Raven’s suck, he and Skillz are working their young butts off. Good for them, back to basics, you cant shoot a free throw, you have to run. haha I remember those days of JV basketball, before the world so cruelly told me you can be just over 5 feet tall and play bball well. hahaha. His gf is worried about Brooke and Peyton being back in town, but he assures her there’s nothing to worry about.
Skillz gives Mouth probably the worst advice in the world: Mouth’s boss is a bitch because she is secretly attracted to him. uh huh. So Mouth should just kiss her and get it out in the open. Cause that wont get him fired. Oh, wait, it does. Duh. Though i like that they are showing how hard it can be to break into the business world, they need to remember that sometimes, your boss just isn’t going to like you. It’s not sexual tension, its pure bitchery. On his way out of the door for the last time, the boss kisses Mouth, and they may just end up having sex on the couch in her office. OK, maybe it was sexual tension, but that’s still totally inaccurate.
Brooke sets up shop in Tree Hill in Karen’s (no longer) Cafe. Her office is freaking out. She buys a house in Tree Hill, furniture and all, right on the ocean or marina or something. The business manager or whoever she hired, played by Daphne Zuniga of Spaceballs, Melrose Place and The Sure Thingfame, tracks her down in Tree Hill, screams at her and tells her she’s being irresponsible, which, wouldn’t a business manager get fired for yelling at the CEO? Apparently not if it’s the CEO’s mom!!! Yep, Brooke’s mom works for her, and, as Peyton says, “Well, it looks like your mom is still a bitch.” hahah oh yeah.
And finally Peyton. Peyton who didn’t move to Tree Hill for Lucas. Riiiiiight. Peyton who goes ballistic when Lindsay, Lucas’s girlfriend, brings her lucky bamboo for her new job, and calls Lindsay out on marking her territory. PS, Lindsay also gave the same bamboo to Brooke, and Peyton looks like an ass. Peyton also signs her first band, and who is the lead singer you say? Kevin Federline!! Yes, K Fed is singing it up in Tree Hill, and hes not half bad for a semi-metal, semi-rock band. He doesn’t want to sign at first, but Peyton goes all inspirational and he signs, but look for trouble from him next (read: this) week!
I’ll try to get the new one up sooner, as my computer is officially ready for me to pick up (got the phone call while writing!).
