New Year’s Resolutions

Well I know what my New Year’s Resolution is (the very generic losing weight), but what are the stars thinking?  Here are some suggestions (for both stars and characters), feel free to add any that you want!

Usmagazine is reporting that our darling LC was totally making out with Stephen *Steeeppphhen* this weekend at Central in LA. Here we go again — willl it be an Laguna Beach reunion on the Hills this season?

Survivor 16 Casting Spoilers

OK — so way back we posted a link about possible spoilers for the new All Star Survivor cast, but then at the finale we found out it would only be half of the cast. Here is an updated rumor list :

As far as the others — I doubt CBS would put Johnny Fairplay back on the show again he is a MESS and hes been all oover tmz lately since his ANTM girlfriend who used to be a Lesbian wrestler is carrying his baby. Amanda — come on really? bleh. And Parvati — that would be an interesting choice. If she went it would be bc someone else backed out OR they are trying to have her be the next Amber. And really Eliza? Sure she was kinda good TV back in the day but come on she is annoying as all hell and to put her on a team with Jonathon too, I think Ozzy and Yau Man are gonna beat the shit out of them. Anyways — should be interesting.

Ok, coming after Kristin posted on Benazir Bhutto, I feel kind of shallow for being excited about this Gossip Girl news, but what they hay, this blog is about TV usually, so shallow is just a part of it!

SO! news on Blake Lively (Serena) and Penn Badgley (Dan): The Daily News is reporting that the two are DATING!! There’s no confirmation yet, so we will have to wait and see, but TOO CUTE!!

Benazir Bhutto

I don’t consider myself a political person — and I don’t know much about the situation in Pakistan — but in 2002 Benazir Bhutto came to the college Lindsay and I went to, and so I’ve been somewhat following her story since. This morning in Pakistan Benazir Bhutto was assassinated. We live in a crazy world. RIP.

New MTV Musical?

Hollywood Reporter is reporting *ha* that the producers of High School Musical are going to produce a new musical for MTV. A bunch of people I’ve never heard of are set to be in it (except Autumn Reeser from The OC! ahaha) — but most interesting is that one of the names on the cast list is none other then Neil Haskell –cutie from So You Think You Can Dance this past summer. TV Guide is reporting that their might be a reality show based on high schoolers at a prep school in NY — hmm. First Josh Schwartz comes out with The OC — then we get Laguna Beach. Next we have Josh Schwartz with Gossip Girl — what could be next? A Reality show about Chuck?

Update on Denise the Liar

So much happens when you work all day and then travel the next!!!

Apparently Denise has REDACTED her statement about before and will give the $50,000 to Charity — specifically the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Fund. Interestingly enough — the PTB that she is giving this money to the charity that Survivor is always raising money for (and haven’t said much, but I don’t think it’s that big of a coincidencerightfully so!).

Gossip Girl on Go Fug

Ok, I HAVE to point out these awesome bits of new media (are you proud there, Elon?) to you.

First, we have my (other) favorite blog – Go Fug Yourself, with a lovely little piece on the Boys that make Gossip Girl. I almost wet my pants, and I’m at work. Potentially a bad incident when you have a boss that seems to think your intelligence level is even with that of Forrest Gump.

Then the lovely Go Fug ladies go and write something very interesting AND intelligent in the New York Magazine (or Post? Whatever its online.) Which led me to their very witty blog on Gossip Girl in the Daily Intelligencer.

All in all? Gossip Girl’s Christmas is good, not clean, not family, but LOADS of fun!

I guess I’ll cheer for 15 yr olds having sex…?

Hmm in light of Jamie Lynn Spears, the BIG MOMENT on Gossip Girl isnt as cute…… Anyway, it’s Christmas in the city and everyone has big plans, except Chuck and Nate; they seem to have dissappeared – on a gay cruise perhaps? Hell, maybe Blair set them up! She’s good at that!

Time Out

Soo I have not posted about Project Runway or Gossip Girl because last night was my Christmas Holiday Party! And today I am off to the airport to go back home to Jersey!! The blog will kinda be slow the next few weeks — but it’ll def kick up again come the new year and American Idol! (hahah unless Lindsay has anything to post!)

The Lying Lunch Lady

The Douglas Public School System issued this statement yesterday basically saying that Denise not only lied about her previous position (she was a janitor before not a lunch lady) but that she was promoted before she left for the show! Here is the press release from the school:

AHHH so according to Kristin on E! (haha so Kristin from E! is reporting about Kristin Cavallari, and my name is Kristin too!! hahha clearly we are all awesome bc we spelled our name correctly and not with some weird E in it..)

“Sources tell me that Kristin Cavallari—you know, the OG Laguna Beach girl—might be coming back to the small screen again. (She had a guest spot on CBS’ Cane a couple of months ago, as I’m sure you know.)

My partner in crime Korbi tells me Miss Cavallari was spotted entering the NBC Universal building today for a casting meeting for Lipstick Jungle (the new dramedy starring Lindsay Price, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver). But wait, it gets better. According to inside sources close to The Hills, the shows producers are looking into the possibility of bringing Kristin onto their series to reunite with Lauren.

Let me be the first to say: Hells. Yeah.

Not surprisingly, according to the same insiders, Lauren is less than thrilled with the idea of Kristin coming onto her show, possibly due to their previous love triangle with Stephen Colletti. But as we’ve seen from Heidi and Lauren this season, that sort of tension can also make for very good TV. (Sad, but true.)

As for whether Kristin would agree to hit The Hills, we shouldn’t forget that when Laguna Beach ended, she said she was leaving reality TV behind in order to focus on her acting career. But with The Hills‘ newfound über-audience and über-presence in the media, I’m thinking this show may be well worth her time.”

Ok so I am sooo excited about tonight’s Finale!! We start with the weird ass credits again – they should just leave it to the normal one. PS who knew Amanda was a beauty queen? The final four go and do the whole ceremonial torch laying and I’m all like why is Courtney talking about all theses people? We get to the final reward and immunity challenge, both of which are won by Amanda. Weird thing is – no car reward? Why would they stop that after 16 seasons – we need to see if the car curse lives on! Wow Courtney is SUCH A BITCH. She made an AWFUL comment about Denise and her saying “this isn’t welfare” “just because she sucks at life”. Ouch Courtney karma is a bitch. Denise is voted out. The final three are Courtney, my man Todd, and Amanda. At first going into this I thought Amanda would have it in the bag but she took a beating at the tribal council and now it’s really anyone’s game. Highlights from final tribal council include James – who is not a bitter Betty – and I don’t even remember what he said but he is hilarious and is totally going to be on all stars. JR is hilarious too – do I vote for the girl I hate or the two who I swore I wouldn’t give a million dollars too if they backstabbed me. Amanda totally ate her words and set herself up to look really bad and Todd gave a great answer and made JR shut up – which makes the entire jury crack up. LOVE IT.

Amanda admits to coordinating the attack on getting James out. Erik totally calls out Amanda too *aww is he so cute* but then he ends up giving her her only vote. Frosti is hilarious with Courtney and I think Courtney is doing a lot better then I thought – could she win this thing? Jamie looks like a complete idiot — her questions don’t make sense she’s trying to look badass and she looks like an idiot.

TV Time

OK so I know this week was mostly focused on The Hills and other TV gossip — but hey there isn’t a lot on. Here is what I watched tonight:

Project Runway:
This week is an amazing challenge. All women who have lost a lot of weight — wearing their favorite outfits — and the designers must take their old fat outfits and make them into fabulous new ones. In the meantime one of our favorites Jack is getting sick — some sort of sore in his mouth that is making his whole face swell up. Unfortunately do to this he must leave the competition to get treatment. (Soo sad — maybe Heidi will have him back next season how awesome would that be!). But in good news Chris who was voted out last week was asked back soo yeaah. Overall the designers made some great outfits. I particularly loved Christians (winner and he has immunity that’s the first mention of that), Kevin’s, and Rami’s. I think that they are the three to beat. Although I really like Jillian in general I don’t know why the judges were fawning over that dress she made. It looks complicated but it was just blah for me. Anyways, Steve who managed to make a Wedding dress into a funeral garbage bag was Auf’d.
