Vampire Diaries — Yeh or Meh

Well, I read the pilot script a few months back and I really enjoyed it so I was looking forward to this pilot a lot. I did enjoy it — more so then Melrose Place (I know apples to oranges but they’re both on CW so bound to make comparisons). That Paul Wesley is super cute huh? Needless to say I think this will stay as a DVR show (kinda like the rest of my CW shows…GG & ANTM). What did you guys think?

Glee — Yeh or Meh?

This is a BIG YEH!!! My favorite new show of the season (I know I’ve only seen like three new shows this year but I can’t imagine anything topping this one). Anything with Matthew Morrison is already going to be a top favorite for me but add musicals and I’m in love. Great episode — I don’t know what Variety is talking about — because this had just as much charm as the pilot. Favorite lines of the episode include:

“This is the room where our daughter or gay son will sleep”
“I don’t have a gag reflex. Someday when you’re older, you’ll appreciate that.”

Amazing. Can’t wait till next week!

Melrose Place — Meh or Yeh?

Ok first new show of the pilot season on the “let’s try it” list is Melrose Place.  I can say I’m 42 minutes into the pilot and I couldn’t care less.  In fact I’ve turned it off to watch the end of Big Brother.  The story was boring and the acting was sub-par. Rating : MEH

Has anyone seen Shark Tank on ABC? I saw a preview for it tonight and it intrigued me so I went online to watch the pilot episode. I loved it — I thought the ideas were interesting and hilarious and the sharks were fantastic. Check it out on Sundays nights or on ABC.com !

VH1 Divas Back

Ohhh man — I wasn’t a huge fan of this in the past, but I def. watched it quite a few times, and it’s about time they brought it back.  On Sept 17th VH1 will air VH1 Divas — this time starring some of my persona favorites — Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, and Miley Cyrus.  You know Kelly Clarkson is going to kill that show — but why in the world is Miley Cyrus in that bunch, if nothing else but ratings? You can’t even compare her to any of those other singers. They should have Carrie Underwood and Christina Aguilera up there for sure or.  Either way I’ll be tuning in!

More importantly this program supports the Save the Music campaign which is so important w/ the crazy amount of budget cuts we’ve seen here in California alone — let alone the rest of the country.

New Obsession

Yes it’s true.. I have a new obsession.  Annd it’s an ABC Family Show.  I know a lot of people who’ve grown to love Greek and Secret Life (albeit we are all in our mid-20’s and probably shouldn’t be watching these shows) but I just never caught on.  Alas a show I can grow to love — Make it or Break it.  As an avid Gymnastics fan (yeaah in 6th grade I wrote to all of the mag 7 for autographs true story. be jealous) this show totally intrigued me.  Although it does have your cheesey “do the right thing” messaging I just can’t get enough of it.  There is also a lot of under-age hotties…(both the Pizza Shop boys Hello!?) plus DJ Tanner!  Needless to say, I would recommend for a great summer guilty pleasure :)

It’s up!  I’ve just posted all of the new shows, mid season replacements, canceled and renewed shows for all the major networks.  You can click through them all at the top of the page.  I’ll continue to update as I hear more information.

I haven’t gotten my hands on any of the pilots but I have read a few of the scripts.  I really enjoyed 100 Questions and Vampire Diaries so we’ll see how they fare when they premiere.

I don’t have to even talk about my love for GLEE.  I had a friend send me a screener a few months back and fell in love…my favorite things in the world, TV, Musicals, and add in some Matthew Morrison — HELLO?  Not to mentioned Kristin Chenoweth is going to be in a few episodes upcoming.  If you haven’t checked it out you can watch on Fox.com or by clicking HERE.

Survivor 20 Heroes vs. Villans

I miss posting… so I might start doing it again.  We’ll see.  In the meantime, just read this juicy gossip from my favorite reality tv blog (http://www.realityblurred.com/realitytv/).  Apparently Season 20 of Survivor will be another All-Star event — Heroes vs. Villans!  I loved both seasons of All Stars before so I imagine that this one will be awesome too.  Who do you think they’ll invite back?  Apparently Richard Hatch & Natalie (from the second all stars fans vs. favorites) were invited.

The New 90210 – Likes and Dislikes

So I just finished watching.  I was excited…now Im excited I might not have another show to write about.
Likes:

• They shot the big party scene at my place Blvd 3 — Im surprised they didnt use the name 900 times like they did on The Hills.  Major props.
• Music Selection quite good — always love a little Jason Mraz
• That the high school is doing Spring Awakening.  OK its a little weird bc no high school as the rights to do the show while its still on Bway — but whateves
• English teacher super cute.
• That the “in” sport for guys is Lacrosse and not Water Polo

Dislikes:

• Um the chick who plays Annie her laugh.
• The chick who plays Annie and how freaking skinny she is — does she weigh 90 pounds?
• The horrible dialogue
• If you weren’t a fan of the original one who the hell cares about Kelly or Brenda?
• Why is the peach pit a coffee place, a place to have dinner, a place to go out, and a bar?  Hmm..

Anyways — not to impressed.  Just comparing it to The OC or Gossip Girl (which I think are comparable shows) It gets a super C-.  Next..  What do you guys think?  I know like 4.5 million watched it so it had to be something good.

It’s Not You…

We begin with Whitney getting ready for her big trip to NYC — Lauren decides that shes not excited about Doug anymore.  Whitney thinks she needs to break up with Doug and LC is totally not down with dumping him.  HAH

Lauren meets up with ShePratt and she says that Spencer disowned her.  LC wants to stay friends blah blah.  in NYC Whitney has to wear a lot of black and shes gotta help with a casting — of hot boys.  Annnd they are taking their clothes off.  They should do this more often.  Whitney meets a cute boy who is from Fresno and he went to USC.  Kelly invites him out for drinks for Whitney HAHAH.  She is smitten.

HAHAH Spencer arrives at Cut and some song about pimps comes on and it cracks me up.  Heidi wants Spencer to make up with his sister and Spencer says that they day he is friends with Stephanie again is the day he is friends with Lauren Conrad.  Hes such a loser.

One Tree Hill – Queen of Hearts

Previously One Tree Hill: Nate found some skillz, Brooke fired her mom (YAY), Dan thought about killing a preacher to get his heart, but didn’t, Lindsey misses Luke, Brooke loves Luke (probably like a friend), and Peyton dreams about marrying Luke.

NYC. WHO is the card guy. He is familiar. Luke and Brooke meet up, for their anniversary??? He is her husband??? They talk about tree hill, they never see everyone. Has to be a dream. Luke goes in a door and back out/in another, with different flowers, yelling happy anniversary . . . to Peyton. Totally a dream. They are SO cute! Luke sits down . . . at another house with Lindsey. And now he is married to her. He talks to her about how easy they are together. And he is back with the card guy. WHO IS HE? Looking at the cards, there’s 3 queens. Hayley tells him to pick one. Hmm I detect symbolism. Nate and Jamie tell him to pick, as do Brooke, Lindsey and Peyton. He picks the queen of hearts. He has always known. And he wakes up in the Tree Hill airport. Talking to the card man. And then picks up the phone.

Dan is helping the old man outside of the hospital, where, last season, he gets hit by another car. Luke makes that all important phone call, asking someone to marry him in Vegas tonight. But WHO??!!?? Dan backs up . . . and boom, car. And irony of ironies, his transplant pager goes off, and someone picks it up. Card dream guy talks to Luke about getting married. Luke says he knows he made the right choice, card guys points out that there is no choice, love finds you, you don’t find love. Destiny, fate, written in the stars, and women are smarter. Card guy says that he obviously made the right choice, Luke asks how he knows that, Card Guy says that she showed up (as he looks behind Luke) and she sure is pretty!!! WHO IS IT?????

Yeahhh Gossip Girl is back!!

We begin Season Two with a recap of Season 1 how scandalous.  I’m watching with a Virgin Gossip Girler so we’ll see what he thinks at the end of the premiere!

Woah Chase Crawford is all up on some cougar in the Hamptons in a car….Ohh and he’s invited back to the house dum dum.  I smell trouble!  Annnd now we see Chuck with some foreign chicks who like to bathe topless.  Ohh and it looks like Blair is coming back into town.  Serena looks all sorts of sadness.  Oh jeeze and Lonelyboy is making out with a random in a bookstore?  She writes her digits on his hand.  Classy.  Ahh so he’s interning with some writer guy.  Woaaah and hes kissing some Chinese chick too. HAHA time for a new nickname — how about Playboy?  Jenny is still interning and making an ugly dress.  Looks like the kids are spending their summer with Mama.  Chuck is still looking as sleezy as ever and getting himself all spruced up for B.  Chuck totally waits for B with flowers and she shows up with a gorgeous boy instead.  Good for her.

S and B talk about their summers hahah a hot lifeguard is like a kleenez – use once then throw away.  James apparently is the “prop” that B was all up on after the Jitney.  Ohh that’s right Rufus is like on “tour” and stuff.  Wow zing to Jack Johnson.  Jenny totally wants in on the White Party and shes gonna start trying get in from Eric.  Yikes Dan is totally ripped for not doing what he was supposed to for his internship.  Jenny tries to apologize to Eric and he totally takes her back aww. HAHAH the lifegaurd has a Camero.  Annnd Nate and the cougar continue their rompe.  James the prop is so cute! Chuck tries to prove how well he knows Blair and we get quite a nice little round table.  Chuck confronts Balir about her relationship with James and how strong her feelings are.  She is totally upset about it.  Ut oh Cougars husband is back.  Annnd Nate goes out the window.  Nice. HAHAHAHHA and he runs into the Camero

Damn that Mother Chucker.  B is like all obsessed with Chuck Bastard.  Chuck and Nate are discussing S & B while S&B run into them.  Dan is all sorts of sad about getting fired from his internship.  Apparently the story that Dan was writing was about him and Serena.  Does anyone else think that these kids talk to their parents about too much stuff.  Chuck is all sorts of trying to figure out about this James.  Apparently he doesn’t go to any of the schools we thought he was.  Blair invites James Prop to the White Party.  Serena and Nate discuss his hooking up with the cougar.  They are going to the white party together.  Weiird Nate shows up in the Hamptons to get Serena back or talk to her at least.

The White party begins.  Oh jeeze and its the Vitamin Water Party lets see how many we can count.  I’ve seen 3 already.  Um i LOVE Serenas whole athenial greek look.  So cuuute.  Dan shows up at Serenas house.  Why is Serenas grandmother wearing two necklaces?   Annnnd another Vitamin Water promo.  Looove Blairs dress.  Ut oh Prop totally can tell shes using him to get to Blair.  Oh jeeze 6 more Vitamin Waters.  Jenny gets her pluses in frotn of the bitchy internship lady who was a cop on Law and Order so its totallly weird seeing her on this.  WOW Prop gives B a whole lotta shit.  Blair and Chuk sprawl some more.  Annnd more vitamin water.  Is this the White and Yellow party? Woaaaahhh Serena and Nate get it on oh jeeze right in front of Dan.  HAHHA nice.

Nate totally calls out Serena lol and then she gets to see him get wine poured on him by the randoms.  Cougar totally jealous about Serena anddd they get it on in the bathroom.  Dan and Serena make upish.  Dan totally wants back with Serena and she is sooo not ready to discuss.  Aww yeah and they kiss, and then they make plans to meet up at the beach.  Prop looks upset and Blair apologizes.  Ohh jeeze and the PI gets back to Chuck about Prop’s.  Woah James is actually Marcus and he’s British and a Lord oh interesting. I liked him better as an American School Boy is that weird? I love British boys.  He even has nice teeth.

Jenny gets props from SVU lady.  Chuck apologizes to Blair and he says that he still has feelings for her. Chuck is so creepy.  Blair wants to know why she should stay with Chuck and she’ll go with him if he says three little words.  Which he can’t do sooo she goes with the Lord who is now known as the Lord and not the Prop.  Cougar slips Nate a note to meet her at a hotel.  Dan finishes his story and starts a bonfire while he is at it.    More props of Vitamin Water.  I wonder if i noticed product placement as much as I do now…  Fireworks go off blah blah.

The WB — resurrected?

OK — so I read about this on another blog and I was curious…and then three episodes of the first season of Buffy..and I was hooked.  The WB is back and a TON of their shows and some other favorites (like The OC uhh yeah — luckily I have all 4 seasons on DVD so no worries there) are online to watch! For Free! Wooo.  I want to download them all and watch all the time.  Anyways  revisit some of your favs from The WB  riiiiight HERE

Survivor Gabon Cast Revealed

It’s finally here — the new cast of Survivor was released this morning and there are lots of different (beautiful) characters on the show this year.  From a 2004 track Olympian, to a gorgeous 20 something doctor, a young gaming pro, and a 50 something teacher!  It should make for an interesting cast.  You can look at the photos and read all the bios at CBS or Entertainment Weekly
